Augmented, virtual, and mixed reality, robotics and AI, among others are examples of transformative technology that enhance teacher instruction and learning when meaningfully utilised, and integrated while simultaneously creating immersive and authentic lessons that are fun and engaging for the student. Emerging technologies have the capability of bringing the outside world into the classroom and vice versa and challenge us to transform our learning environments in an inclusive, equitable, diverse and authentic manner by Designing For 21 Century teaching and learning. This CPD will further explore and examine, debate and discuss the Strengths, Challenge, Opportunities and Threats perceived and otherwise of Emerging Technologies and Transformative Classrooms.
